DISASSEMBLY
1 Remove optical eyeshied (1).
CAUTION
Danage may result if image in-
tensifier is exposed to bright
sunlight or high intensity ar-
tificial light.
2 Lossen two setscrews (2) located on
locking ring of eyepiece assembly (3).
3 Remove eyepiece assembly (3) by
unscrewing locking ring.
4 Loosen three setscrews (4) securing
threaded adapter (5) to elbow assembly
(6).
5 Remove threaded adapter (5) from
elbow assembly (6).
6 Remove preformed packing (7) from
threaded adapter (5). Discard preformed
packing (7).
8 Using special threaded tool (9), engage
