TOOLS: 0.035" socket head screw key (Allen wrench or equivalent)
SUPPLIES: Sealing compound (item 8, App. A)

Using dioptometer
Connecting power supply
EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Infrared body assembly and eyepiece parts on work bench, power off
Procedure
Install scale (1) on eyepiece assembly (2).

Apply a thin film of sealing compound to threads of five setscrews (3, 4) (JPG).
Using Allen wrench, install, but do not tighten, three setscrews (3).

Install index (5) on eyepiece assembly (2).

Using Allen wrench, install, but do not tighten, two setscrews (4).
