EYEPIECE ASSEMBLY SCALE INSTALLATION (CONT)
Procedure
Using your hand, turn green ring (1) on the eyepiece assembly (2) to center of its range.
Turn index (3) until index mark (4) is centered in up position.
Using Allen wrench, tighten two setscrews (5).
Connect power supply (Vol I, Para 2-4) to infrared body assembly (6). Set voltage to
24 VDC. Turn rotary switch (7) to 24V ON!
Place dioptometer onto eye lens (8) and while looking through dioptometer, turn knurled
knob (9) until reticle (10) is sharp and clear, (JPG).
Turn scale (11) until zero is centered on index mark (4).
Using Allen wrench, tighten three setscrews (12).
Remove dioptometer from eye lens (8).
Set rotary switch (7) to OFF.
Set voltage to 0 VDC. Disconnect power supply (JPG).
