CAP ASSEMBLY, CONVERTER, AND POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY AND
INSTALLATION

TOOLS: Soldering iron
1-5/8" tubular spanner wrench
1/ 16" socket head screw key (Allen wrench or equivalent)
SUPPLIES :
Sealing compound (item 8, App. A)
Solder (item 12, App. A)
Tubing (item 15, App. A)
PERSONNEL: One

Soldering
EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Infrared body assembly on work bench, power off
NOTE
Do not install battery during assembly.
Install insulator (1) with setscrew slot on top and aligned with setscrew hole.
Put a small amount of sealing compound on threads of two setscrews (2) (JPG).
Install insulator (1). Using Allen wrench, install two setscrews (2).

Using spanner wrench, install externally threaded ring (4).
Place spring tension washer (5) on end of power supply (6).
Install sleeve (7) on power supply (6) by twisting clockwise.
Place sleeve assembly (8) in infrared body assembly (9) and lock in place by turning
clockwise.
Install converter (10) in sleeve assembly (9). Make sure small contact points out.
Place gasket (11) on cap assembly ( 12).
Using your hand, turn cap assembly (12) and gasket (11) clockwise into infrared body
assembly (9).
