Procedure
Be careful not to damage mirror (1). Do not get
fingerprints or smears on mirror (1) surfaces.
Using 3/16" flat tip screwdriver, remove two screws (2) and two clamps (3).
Using tweezers, pull contact (4) and wire (5) from sleeve assembly (6).
using tweezers, pull wire (5) back through sleeve assembly (6) and from around mirror
(1).
Using your hand, unscrew sleeve assembly (6) from elbow assembly (7).
Using spanner wrench, remove protective plug (8).
Using wooden dowel and hammer. push out connector (9) and wire (5) from elbow
assembly (7).
Check connector (9) for corrosion, If corroded, clean with crocus cloth (JPG).
