1/1 6 "socket head screw key (Allen wrench or equivalent)

EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Infrared body assembly on work bench, power off
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES: Remove rotary switch (para 6-22, steps 2, 3 and caution)
Procedure
Using your hand, turn cap assembly (1) counterclockwise and remove gasket (2).
NOTE
Either battery or converter may be installed. Both are
removed in the same way.
Remove battery or converter (3) from sleeve assembly (4).
Push in and turn sleeve assembly (4) counterclockwise and remove from housing.
Turn sleeve (5) slightly clockwise and remove from power supply (6). Remove spring
tension washer (7).
Using spanner wrench, remove externally threaded ring (8).
Using Allen wrench, remove two setscrews (9).
Using soldering iron, unsolder red and white wire leads from rotary switch (10)
Remove insulator (11).
