SUPPLIES: Grease (item 4, App. A)
Sealing compound (item 7, App. A)

Using sealing compound
EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Body assembly on work bench
Procedure
NOTE
If adapter was removed, apply a small amount of
sealing compound to mating surfaces of adapter (JPG).
Using screwdriver, install adapter to body with four
screws.
Put a thin film of grease on surface of packings (1) and (2) (JPG).
Install packing (1) on guide (3).
Install packing (1) and guide (3) in body assembly (4).
Install packing (2) into guide (3).
Install boresight knob assembly (5) into body assembly (4) with index mark facing
eyepiece.
Using screwdriver, install four washers (6) and four screws (7).
NOTE
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
Do checkout procedure ( Vol I, para 2-3).
