NOTE
The Telescope uses lithium-manganese dioxide batteries
which, when depleted, are to be disposed of in accordance
with technical bulletin, TB 43-0134, Battery Disposition and
Disposal, paragraph 4-5, and local regulations and
procedures (contact your local defense reutilization and
marketing office (DRMO) for assistance). Certain states
identify lithium-manganese dioxide batteries as hazardous
waste; these states are currently Alaska, California,
Minnesota, Rhode Island, and Washington.
