Sealing compound (item 8, App. A)
PERSONNEL: One
REFERENCES: JPG 41C for sealing
EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Valve assembly parts and head assembly on work bench

Procedure
Step
1.
Using valve core wrench, put valve core (1) in valve stem (2) and tighten.
2.
Put strap (3) on valve stem (2) and cap (4).
3.
Using 7/16" and 3/8" wrenches, put cap (4) on valve stem (2).
4.
Put sealing compound on threads of valve stem (2) (JPG).
5.
Using 7/16" wrench, put valve (5) in head assembly (6) and tighten.
