Place precision level (2) on adapter keys (8). Make sure precision level bubble is centered.

Tighten setscrew (9) and re-level cross-level and adapter keys.

Rotate precision level (2) 180 degrees from original position, and check that precision level bubble is centered.
VISUAL INSPECTION

Check that all screws and lockwashers are present and tight.

Check that all mounting surfaces are clean and free of nicks and burrs.

Check that M137 telescope mount is free of dirt, corrosion, and foreign matter.

Check that M137 telescope mount paint is not chipped.
5
Check that all M137 telescope mount parts are present.
6
Check for broken, frayed, or deteriorated insulation on extension light.
