Fire control instrument must conform to the following specifications for overseas shipment.
a. Functioning of Mechanical Parts. Mechanical parts must operate smoothly without binding or rough motion.
Parts must be free from grit and must be properly lubricated.
General Appearance and Condition of the Instruments.
(1) All parts of the instruments must be present and free from defects.
(2) Paint must cover all specified surfaces. Repaint if painted surfaces show signs of damage.
(3) Any fire control instrument failing to meet the requirements of the final inspection is unsatisfactory for
