TOOLS: 4 oz ball peen hammer
3/32" pin drive punch
5/64" socket head screw key (Allen wrench or equivalent)
#2 cross tip screwdriver ( Phillips type)
0.070 jewelers screwdriver
SUPPLIES:
PERSONNEL: One
REFERENCES: JPG 41C for cleaning
EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Head assembly on work bench

Procedure
Step
NOTE
Pin (1) is tapered and can be removed one way only.
1.
Using punch and hammer, remove pin (1) from arm assembly (2).
2.
Using Allen wrench, remove setscrew (3) and arm assembly (2).
3.
Using #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove thirteen screws (4) and thirteen washers (5) and
cover (6) from two locaitng pins (7).
4.
Using cleaning solvent, remove old sealing compound from threads of screw (4).
5.
Using jewelers screwdriver, remove packing (8) from groove ( 9).
